With its contemporary design, the TinyWorm worm composter fits beautifully into any home, as well as on a balcony or patio. Available in on-trend colors, this model comes with 3 working trays and your choice of plastic legs, wooden legs, or no legs, for excellent stability.
Made mostly from recycled materials, the TinyWorm fits even in the smallest spaces, combining practicality and good looks.
The TinyWorm is the only worm composter with removable legs, so you can adjust its height by +/- 5.9 in (15 cm) to suit your needs. That makes it easy to place a bottle underneath to collect the worm tea.
To keep liquid from pooling in the base, a flexible, adjustable hose lets the worm tea drain continuously for simple, hygienic collection.
An innovative touch: its micro-perforated sliding drawer makes harvesting vermicompost effortless. The unique design of the trays and base ensures optimal airflow.
Fun and educational, it is the perfect companion for learning about recycling food scraps, for kids and grown-ups alike.
Comes complete with:
1 self-supporting lid,
3 trays,
1 adjustable 3.3 ft (1 m) hose for draining the worm tea,
1 base with drawer,
4 plastic or wooden legs (optional),
Vermicomposting guide + assembly instructions in English.
Included: the complete vermicomposting guide plus a detailed 20-page user manual (8.3 x 8.3 in / 21 x 21 cm, in English) to walk you step by step through using and caring for your worm composter.
Benefits
A 2-in-1 product: your plants feed on your organic waste.
Very easy to use thanks to its size (great for kids and seniors)
Adjustable height and excellent stability.
Modern design and on-trend colors.
Compact enough to fit anywhere.
Drawer for harvesting vermicompost before rotating the trays.
Adjustable hose for continuous worm tea drainage.
How it works:
As the lower compartments fill up, you add a new tray on top and move up a level. The worms gradually migrate upward, drawn by the fresh food scraps and organic matter. Vermicompost and worm tea are harvested from the lower levels of the worm composter.

Your questions about the TinyWorm
The farm's answers to the questions our customers ask us most often.
The TinyWorm is our most compact tray worm composter: 3 trays with 1.6 gallons (6 liters) of usable space each, ideal for a small kitchen, a studio apartment, or a small balcony. It's a great fit for a small household or a first try at vermicomposting.
Let's be honest: its capacity is more limited than that of our larger models. If you produce a lot of food scraps, you can add extra trays (up to 6), or choose a larger model such as the WORMbox or the Worm Café. The TinyWorm's removable legs (wood, plastic, or no legs) also let you adjust its height by around 5.9 in (15 cm).
Yes, the TinyWorm works just as well indoors as on a balcony or patio, as long as you protect the worms from extreme temperatures.
Keep it out of the rain, which would waterlog the bedding.
Keep it in the shade, never in full sun; during a heat wave, move it somewhere cool.
Below about 23 °F (-5 °C), cover it with a blanket or bring it indoors.
Worms are comfortable between 59 and 77 °F (15–25 °C). The TinyWorm's compact size is a real plus: it's easy to move, and its 3.3 ft (1 m) hose drains the worm tea into a bottle, wherever you place it.
For the TinyWorm, 8.8 oz (250 g) of worms is generally enough for a household of 1 to 2 people; plan on 1.1 lb (500 g), or about 1,000 worms, for 3 to 4 people.
There's no need to add too many to a compact worm composter like the TinyWorm: worms breed naturally and adjust their population to the space and food available. Settle them in the first tray on moist bedding, then watch how quickly they work. If the food scraps are disappearing well, feed a little more; if they're piling up, cut back.
The TinyWorm comes with a self-supporting lid, 3 trays, a leachate tray with a harvesting drawer, an adjustable 3.3 ft (1 m) hose, wooden or plastic legs depending on the version, our vermicomposting guide with detailed instructions, and a video training session.
Don't forget the worms if they aren't part of your order, plus some bedding (coconut coir or cardboard) and a square hemp mat, the right size for its small trays. Made in Australia from mostly recycled materials, the TinyWorm worm composter comes with a 2-year warranty. Extra trays are available in our store.
In the TinyWorm, your worms eat about half their own weight in food scraps every day, sometimes as much as their full weight. That means 1.1 lb (500 g) of worms digest about 8.8 oz (250 g) of scraps a day. Their population doubles every 3 to 4 months, then adjusts to the space available. Compact, with its 3 trays of 1.6 gallons (6 liters) each, the TinyWorm worm composter is designed for a small household. If you start producing more food scraps, it takes up to 6 trays.
Bonus: your cardboard, paper, and egg cartons get recycled too, in equal parts with your peels, and it's this balance that prevents odors. Depending on the household, that means 30 to 50% less organic waste in the trash can.
Add a tray on top as soon as the active tray is three-quarters full, and put your new food scraps in it: the worms will move up on their own. The TinyWorm holds up to 6 trays.
What sets the TinyWorm worm composter apart: the micro-perforated drawer in the base collects vermicompost that you can retrieve even before rotating the trays. When all the trays are full, harvest the bottom one: place it on top under a light, with the lid off, and scrape off the compost in thin layers. Then rinse the empty tray before putting it back into use.
The TinyWorm worm composter produces two natural fertilizers for your plants:
compost tea (worm tea), after about 2 to 3 months: the TinyWorm's 3.3 ft (1 m) flexible hose carries it continuously into a bottle, and its drawer already collects a little vermicompost. Dilute 1 part tea to 9 parts water;
vermicompost: first harvest after 3 to 6 months, then roughly every 1 to 2 months. Use 30% vermicompost to 70% potting soil; it keeps for 2 years.

Worms well acclimatized, worm composter size suitable.22/10/2026

I've been using it for three months. At first, a few worms left the worm composter and I found them dried out on the floor, but after a good month, fewer escaped, and I'm now using all three trays of the system. The worms seem to have acclimatized and everything is going well. We'll see whether they reproduce...

After a month of use, it's a system that's very pleasant to run, with no unpleasant smell! It easily finds its place thanks to its shape and dimensions. A small, discreet self-adhesive sticker showing "Willy", the tenant, would be most welcome.... The documentation is pleasant to read and very well made.

Location: Balcony, patioSize for your needs: Too small

Practical and compact on a small balcony... but the small size has its drawbacks... it's a bit tight for the volume of waste to process! If you let the compost mature a little less, you risk finding unwanted plants in all your flower pots!
