General Terms and Conditions of Sale
Version in effect as of: August 8, 2026.
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter the “Terms and Conditions”) apply to any contract entered into with FERME DU MOUTTA, a simplified joint-stock company with share capital of 1,000 euros, registered with the PAU Trade and Companies Register under number 530 363 845, whose registered office is located at 15 Avenue Gay-Lussac - FR-64140 LONS (hereinafter “MOUTTA FARM”). They apply to any order for products of the MOUTTA FARM brand, as well as gift cards of the MOUTTA FARM brand (hereinafter the “Products”), placed on the website www.mouttafarm.com (hereinafter the “Site”) by an individual acting as a consumer or professional, within the meaning of the preliminary article of the French Consumer Code, for their personal needs or for professional use (hereinafter the “Customer”).
These Terms and Conditions, drafted in English, may be amended at any time by MOUTTA FARM.
The Customer’s order confirmation constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, without restriction or reservation, to the exclusion of any other document. The Terms and Conditions in effect on the date of confirmation shall prevail over any previous versions, as well as over those applicable in the MOUTTA FARM store.
PRODUCTS / PRICES
1.1 Product offer
The Products offered for sale are those available at the time the Customer confirms and pays for the order. MOUTTA FARM reserves the right to change its offer at any time, in particular by adding, modifying, or removing Products.
The Products are presented as accurately as possible. However, MOUTTA FARM cannot guarantee a perfectly faithful representation, in particular due to differences in the rendering of colors or materials depending on the web browsers and screens used.
The delivered Product may differ slightly from the one shown on the Site, without the Customer being entitled to cancel the sale, in the following cases:
- If the Product is handcrafted or semi-handcrafted, and perfect uniformity cannot be guaranteed.
- If, between the order and delivery, the Product has been adapted for technical or technological reasons.
In both cases, such differences must not affect the essential characteristics of the Products, alter their quality, or lead to a price increase.
1.2 Product prices
Prices are stated in euros, including all taxes (VAT included). Handling and shipping costs are not included in the displayed price, unless otherwise stated.
On some sites (in particular Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Poland, the Czech Republic, Sweden, Denmark, and Romania), or when the Customer chooses another currency, prices may also be displayed in a currency other than the euro, for information only. These amounts are calculated using the latest reference rate published by the European Central Bank. The contractual price is the price in euros: the order, the invoice, and the payment are made in euros, and by confirming the order the Customer agrees to pay in euros. Any conversion into the Customer's currency, and any related fees, are handled by the Customer's bank or card issuer at its own rate. The amount charged in the Customer's currency may therefore differ slightly from the indicative amount displayed.
MOUTTA FARM reserves the right to change Product prices at any time. The applicable prices are those in effect on the date the Customer validates the order.
Some illustrations may be 3D renderings and are provided for reference only. They are not contractually binding and do not engage the liability of MOUTTA FARM.
ORDERS
2.1 Placing an order
Orders are placed exclusively through the MOUTTA FARM Site, either by creating a personal account (hereinafter the “Account”) or as a guest without registering. At this stage, the Customer must provide accurate personal information, such as their last name, first name, and email address. It is the Customer’s responsibility to check that their email address is valid and to set up their mailbox so that emails from MOUTTA FARM are not treated as spam.
All information provided by the Customer must be accurate, complete, and up to date. If their circumstances change, the Customer agrees to update their information via their Account or by contacting customer service. The Account and related information are managed solely through the Site.
The Customer also agrees to read and accept the MOUTTA FARM privacy policy, available on the Site, regarding the processing of personal data: Personal information. Order information is drafted in English and is archived by MOUTTA FARM for ten (10) years.
When creating their Account, the Customer chooses a personal password, which identifies them and makes future logins to the Site easier. The Customer is responsible for keeping this password confidential and agrees to:
- Not disclose it to third parties;
- Take all measures to prevent third parties from accessing it;
- Not allow anyone else to use their Account (lending, sharing, exchanging, giving away, transferring, or selling it is prohibited);
- Not use another person’s Account;
- Use a personal, non-shared email address;
- Allow MOUTTA FARM to contact them at this email address.
The Customer is fully responsible for the use of their Account. Any login or action carried out with their password is deemed to have been performed by the Customer and under their responsibility. We recommend logging out after each session to keep access confidential.
In the event of fraudulent use or loss/theft of the password, the Customer must notify MOUTTA FARM immediately. If they forget their password, the Customer may use the “Forgot password” feature to receive a new one at the email address registered in their Account.
The security of the Account is the Customer’s sole responsibility. MOUTTA FARM cannot be held liable for damage to the Account or the Customer’s computer in the event of loss or disclosure of login credentials or passwords.
The Customer is deemed responsible for all orders placed through their Account. Orders by phone, email, mail, or fax will not be accepted.
2.2 Order validation
The choice and purchase of a Product are the sole responsibility of the Customer, particularly regarding whether the purchase suits their own needs. The Customer adds the selected Products to their cart and may review the order details and the total price, and correct or change their order before final validation. It is therefore the Customer’s responsibility to check that the information is accurate before validating. Validation is completed by payment, by which the Customer acknowledges having read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
The order becomes final once validated by clicking “Pay now,” without prejudice to the right of withdrawal granted to consumers under Articles L.221-18 to L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, under the conditions of Article 5.4.2 hereof, except for Products personalized at the request of the consumer Customer.
MOUTTA FARM reserves the right to refuse any order for legitimate reasons, in particular in the event of an unresolved dispute related to non-payment of a previous order.
An order confirmation email will be sent as soon as possible, setting out the essential details: order number, Products ordered, delivery location, etc. The Customer agrees that this confirmation serves as evidence of the contractual relationship established with MOUTTA FARM.
If one or more ordered Product(s) are unavailable, MOUTTA FARM will inform the Customer by email as soon as possible. The order may then be canceled or a new delivery date offered, depending on when the Product becomes available again.
PAYMENT
3.1 Payment
Online payment methods are detailed on the “Payment methods” page of the Site.
All payments are made in euros.
3.2 Invoicing
The invoice issued by MOUTTA FARM includes the information provided by the Customer when creating or updating their Account. This information cannot be changed after the invoice has been issued.
3.3 Loyalty program and vouchers
Membership. The MOUTTA FARM loyalty program is free and reserved for customers with a customer account on the website. It applies to orders placed on the MOUTTA FARM website, including orders placed as a guest and later linked to an account created with the same email address. Orders placed on marketplaces (Amazon, etc.) do not earn points.
Earning points. Each order earns loyalty points based on the amount of the items including tax, after discounts and excluding shipping: 1 point per euro at the Bronze level, 1.2 points per euro at the Silver level, and 1.5 points per euro at the Gold level, rounded down to the nearest whole number. Points from an order become available upon delivery, and no later than 30 days after the order.
Levels. The customer's level depends on their paid orders over the last 12 months:
- Silver: from 3 orders or €150 in purchases;
- Gold: from 6 orders or €400 in purchases.
The level is recalculated with each order. If the customer orders less, they move back to the corresponding level without losing the points already earned.
Birthday gift. On their birthday, customers who have entered their date of birth in their account and are subscribed to the newsletter receive loyalty points: 100 points at the Bronze level, 150 at the Silver level, and 200 at the Gold level.
Converting points into a voucher. Starting at 100 points, customers can convert their points from their loyalty area, in increments of 100 points, into a voucher worth €5 per increment, up to €30 (600 points) per voucher. Only one loyalty voucher can be active at a time. The voucher is:
- personal and can be used only once, on an order placed with the customer's account;
- valid for 12 months from the date it is created;
- applicable to the amount of the items, excluding shipping. The order must include items worth at least the amount of the voucher.
It is neither refundable nor redeemable for cash, and no credit is given for any unused portion. Once converted, points cannot be recovered.
Point validity. Points remain valid for 12 months after the customer's last order: each new order extends the validity of all their points. Birthday points are valid for 12 months from the day they are awarded and are used first when converting. Points not used by these deadlines are permanently lost. Customers with at least 100 points are notified by email 30 days before their points expire.
Cancellations and returns. If an order is canceled, refunded, or unpaid, the corresponding points are removed from the customer's account. MOUTTA FARM may adjust the balance in the event of a partial refund.
No cash value. Loyalty points have no cash value. They are personal and may not be transferred, sold, or exchanged for cash. If the customer account is closed, any unused points and vouchers are lost.
Fraud. In the event of fraudulent or abusive use of the program, MOUTTA FARM reserves the right to cancel the points and vouchers concerned.
Changes to the program. MOUTTA FARM may change or end the loyalty program at any time. Customers will be notified at least 30 days in advance. Points earned remain usable during this period, and vouchers already created remain usable until their expiration date.
Full details of the program are available on the Loyalty program page.
DELIVERY
4.1 Shipping costs and methods
Delivery may be made to our store in Lons (France), to a pickup point, or to the Customer’s home, in all countries offered at checkout. The shipping method, delivery time, and corresponding costs are specified at checkout, depending on the delivery location, the type of Products, and the service chosen by the Customer.
In-store pickup requires presentation of the order form and a valid photo ID in the Customer’s name. A third party may pick up the goods by presenting the order form, their own photo ID, and the original or a copy of the Customer’s ID, together with a signed authorization.
Delivery by carrier:
- Small items are shipped by parcel service. Eligibility for this method is shown when the order is validated.
- Bulky items are delivered by parcel service or freight carrier, on a date and time window agreed between the Customer and the carrier. Products are delivered to the address provided by the Customer when ordering, unless another address is specified. Delivery arrangements may vary depending on the size of the order. The Customer must check this when ordering.
Assembly of items delivered unassembled is the Customer’s responsibility, as MOUTTA FARM does not offer this service.
Before ordering, the Customer must make sure that the Products can be transported normally to the delivery location. Any additional equipment required shall be at the Customer’s expense.
If delivery cannot be made on the scheduled date because the Customer is absent or failed to report any access constraints, additional charges may apply or MOUTTA FARM may cancel the order.
Risks relating to the Products pass to the Customer as soon as the carrier hands them over on the agreed date.
If not all Products in the same order are available at the same time, MOUTTA FARM may offer to ship them in several installments. In this case, shipping costs will apply to each shipment. Otherwise, delivery will take place once all the Products are available.
4.2 Receiving your products
Delivery is deemed completed as soon as the carrier makes the Product available to the Customer, as shown by the carrier’s tracking or control system.
Each delivered Product comes with a delivery or shipping receipt, which must be signed by the Customer or by any duly authorized person.
Upon delivery, the Customer must carry out a full inspection to check for any damage, defect, missing item, or visible flaw. This inspection covers:
- the condition of the packaging,
- the number of packages,
- whether the Products match the order (quantity, references, condition, and characteristics).
If there is a problem, the Customer must:
1. Write down their reservations precisely, with reasons, on the delivery or shipping receipt, dated and signed. Statements such as “subject to unpacking” are not sufficient;
2. Confirm their reservations to MOUTTA FARM within three (3) days of delivery.
If damage is discovered at the Customer’s home, the Customer must note it on the delivery receipt, take photos of the damage and of the receipt showing the reservations, and immediately notify the carrier and MOUTTA FARM.
In general, the Customer must be able to substantiate their claims and give MOUTTA FARM access so that it can carry out the necessary checks.
4.2.1 Order cancellation
MOUTTA FARM allows the Customer to change their mind and cancel their order. Partial cancellation is not possible.
Depending on how far the order has been processed and on the payment method, the Customer may contact customer service through the “Contact us” form on the Site. A cancellation confirmation email will be sent, and the refund will be issued within fourteen (14) days.
If the order can no longer be canceled directly, the Customer may refuse delivery:
- Delivery to a pickup point: the Customer must refuse the package at the pickup point, then contact MOUTTA FARM customer service for a refund.
- Home delivery: the Customer must inform the carrier when scheduling the delivery appointment or refuse the package at home, then contact customer service for a refund.
In these cases, return shipping costs remain the Customer’s responsibility and will be deducted from the refund.
If the package is not picked up from the pickup point, the order is canceled and returned to the warehouse. The refund is issued within 14 days of receipt at the warehouse, using the original payment method. Return shipping costs are borne by the Customer and deducted from the refund.
For home delivery, if the carrier was unable to deliver at the first two appointments because the Customer was absent, the order is canceled, returned, and refunded within 14 days of receipt, with return shipping costs borne by the Customer and deducted from the refund.
4.2.2 Right of withdrawal – Returning your order
From the date the order is received or picked up, the Customer has fourteen (14) business days to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to give a reason, using the dedicated form on the Site.
This right of withdrawal applies to all MOUTTA FARM products, except personalized ones. Returned products must be in perfect condition, in their original packaging, with all accessories and the invoice.
Live animals cannot be returned, as suitable return conditions cannot be ensured.
MOUTTA FARM reserves the right to refuse a refund for products that have been used or damaged so that they can no longer be resold, or that do not match the references provided for the return.
In the event of damage or wear to returned products, or loss of value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature and proper functioning, the Customer may be held liable. MOUTTA FARM may also apply a deduction based on reconditioning costs.
To exercise their right of withdrawal, the Customer must notify MOUTTA FARM within 14 days by one of the following means:
- Online: via the “Contact us” form.
- By phone: 05.31.52.0000.
- By mail: using the form provided in Appendix 1.
We recommend withdrawing online or by phone.
After notifying their decision, the Customer has an additional 14 days to send the products back, under the conditions set out above.
If these conditions are met, the Customer is refunded using the same payment method as the original order, for the price of the products and the standard outbound shipping costs, within 14 days of the products being received at the MOUTTA FARM warehouses.
For a partial return, the flat-rate outbound shipping costs for the original order are not refunded.
In all cases, return shipping costs by mail or carrier are the Customer’s responsibility and will be communicated to you before any return.
For a refund by bank transfer, the Customer must provide their IBAN to MOUTTA FARM in order to be refunded for the products and the standard outbound shipping costs. Shipping upgrades will be refunded up to the cost of standard shipping.
For products weighing 66 lb (30 kg) or more, the return must be arranged by MOUTTA FARM, at the Customer’s expense, after contacting Customer Service.
4.2.3 Returning a non-conforming item
The Customer is covered by the legal warranties for any lack of conformity that appears within two (2) years of purchase or delivery, under the legal warranty of conformity and the warranty against hidden defects.
To make a claim under these warranties, the Customer must notify MOUTTA FARM of the lack of conformity or hidden defect by one of the following means:
- Online: via the “Contact us” form.
- By phone: 05.31.52.0000.
4.2.4 Returning an item received damaged
If a product arrives damaged in transit, the Customer must write down their reservations precisely, with reasons, on the delivery or shipping receipt, dated and signed. Statements such as “subject to unpacking” are not sufficient.
The Customer then has three (3) business days after delivery to confirm their reservations to MOUTTA FARM, or ten (10) days if the carrier did not allow an inspection and no comment could be written on the receipt, by one of the following means:
- Online: via the “Contact us” form.
- By phone: 05.31.52.0000.
Approved claims entitle the Customer to an exchange of the product, or to a refund if the item is no longer available. In this case, MOUTTA FARM covers the return shipping costs for any approved return.
4.2.5 Missing or unordered item
If a part is missing, incomplete, or was not ordered, the Customer must write down their reservations precisely, with reasons, on the delivery or shipping receipt, dated and signed. The statement “subject to unpacking” is not sufficient.
The Customer then has three (3) business days after delivery to confirm their reservations to MOUTTA FARM through one of the following channels:
- Online: via the “Contact us” form.
- By phone: 05.31.52.0000.
If the claim is justified and accepted by MOUTTA FARM:
- The Customer will receive the missing products or parts; or
- If they are unavailable, a store credit or refund will be issued using the original payment method.
For a product that was not ordered, MOUTTA FARM agrees to take it back in its original packaging, in perfect condition, with all its accessories.
PRODUCT WARRANTIES
MOUTTA FARM Customers are covered by the legal warranty of conformity under Article L217-4 of the French Consumer Code, valid for at least two (2) years from the date on the invoice. This warranty does not cover wear parts or labor. Some products come with a longer warranty depending on the supplier; details are shown on the product page or are available on request by email through the “Contact us” page.
The warranty covers, at MOUTTA FARM’s discretion:
- Replacement with a product of equivalent functionality,
Replacement of the defective part(s),
A refund if repair or replacement is impossible (for example, if the product or part is unavailable).
If there is a significant price difference, MOUTTA FARM reserves the right to choose the least costly solution.
The warranty does not apply in the following cases:
- Normal wear and tear or abnormal/improper use,
- Negligence by the Customer in maintenance or storage,
- Modification of the product or incompatibility with other equipment.

The Customer is solely responsible for all activity carried out through their Account and agrees to comply with the law, particularly regarding data protection and intellectual property.
The Customer browses the Site at their own risk. The Customer shall indemnify and hold MOUTTA FARM harmless against any loss, claim, or third-party proceedings related to the use of the Site, including court costs and attorneys’ fees.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND WARRANTY OF MOUTTA FARM
10.1 Technical limitations and access to the site
MOUTTA FARM cannot be held liable for outages, errors, technical failures, computer viruses, or any other incident that may prevent access to the Site or interfere with its proper functioning, nor for any resulting direct or indirect damage, particularly in the event of a malfunction of the Customer’s computer equipment related to accessing the Site.
MOUTTA FARM does not guarantee the performance, stability, or compatibility of the Site with certain technical configurations or specific uses. Temporary interruptions may occur for maintenance, fixes, updates, or any cause beyond MOUTTA FARM’s control.
To the extent permitted by law, MOUTTA FARM cannot be held liable for direct or indirect damage caused by the use of, or inability to use, the Site, or by downloading content (images, texts, videos, etc.) from the Site.
10.2 Product use and liability
The Customer agrees to follow the instructions, precautions, and recommendations shown on the Products or their packaging. MOUTTA FARM cannot be held liable for any damage resulting from improper use, negligence, lack of maintenance, or use contrary to the recommendations.
MOUTTA FARM’s liability is also excluded in the event of:
- non-compliance of the Products with the laws of the country of delivery or use,
- use that does not follow normal practices or reasonable care,
- fault or conduct attributable to the Customer or a third party.
Should MOUTTA FARM be held liable, its liability would cover only direct, personal, certain, and foreseeable losses, excluding any indirect loss or damage, in particular loss of business, data, or revenue.
In all cases, MOUTTA FARM’s liability is limited to the total amount of the order concerned and cannot be invoked for simple errors or omissions in the presentation of the Products.
10.3 Force majeure
The occurrence of a force majeure event, as defined by Belgian case law and Article 1218 of the French Civil Code, suspends the performance of MOUTTA FARM’s obligations. Such non-performance shall not give rise to any liability on its part.
If the force majeure event lasts more than one (1) month, MOUTTA FARM may cancel the order concerned and refund any amounts paid, without any further compensation.

Upon request, MOUTTA FARM may provide the Customer with a copy of the sales contract for the Product.
