Our quality worms can provide a natural, protein-rich food source for many reptiles and amphibians.

Among amphibians, the axolotl (Ambystoma mexicanum) is well known to eat both terrestrial and aquatic worms: in the wild and in captivity, earthworms make up a major part of its diet thanks to their high nutritional value, as long as the worms are an appropriate size or cut into pieces to suit the animal's ability.

Many species of lizards also eat worms when they are available in their environment: skinks, ground geckos, and some anoles regularly include worms in their diet, along with insects and other invertebrates.

For salamanders and newts, such as the alpine newt and other urodeles, worms are among the invertebrates they naturally hunt in their habitat, especially when they move around at night or during damp weather.

For larger terrestrial reptiles (some snakes or omnivorous turtles), worms are a valuable source of protein to supplement a balanced diet of insects, small animals, or formulated foods. However, it is important to match the size of the prey to the species and age of the animal to avoid any risk of choking or digestive problems.

Our worms are carefully packaged to preserve their freshness, vitality, and palatability, making them especially well suited for live feeding in terrariums and paludariums, or for occasional feedings as part of a varied diet.
