WORMbox Worm Composter: All Versions
From 2 to 4 trays, with an optional planter.
We chose to design our own worm composter: the WORMbox, a sturdy, high-performing model built to last.
It's the only model on the market available in such a wide range of colors.
Developed and made in France, in the Landes region, from recycled and recyclable plastic (black parts), the WORMbox now helps nearly 100,000 households recycle their organic waste. Around fifty local governments have also chosen us as a partner for their organic waste management projects.
Add a planter to your worm bin and grow your plants with your organic waste.

Our unique expertise allows us to offer a product that brings together the very best in home worm composters, in terms of both performance and reliability.
The WORMbox on casters is built on a design that ensures a perfect seal between all of its components. This design combines micro-perforations in the lid with high-precision molding, eliminating any play in the assembly of the parts (stand, leachate tray, trays, planter, or lid).
These technical choices ensure optimal airflow in the worm composter while keeping the bedding in ideal condition. The result: an environment perfectly suited to the worms, with no nuisances — because a happy earthworm is a worm that stays put.
Tips to take it further
Choosing your modelHow does a tray worm composter work?
The tray worm composter is the most common model for beginners. It has several stacked trays, and the worms gradually move upward in search of fresh food, leaving mature compost behind. This guide explains how it works, how often to rotate trays, its advantages, and the few things to keep an eye on day to day.
Choosing your modelWorm composter with planter: WORMbox, WORMgarden, Transfarmers, WORMacotta...
Several of our models combine a worm composter and a planter: the WORMbox planter that replaces the lid, the WORMgarden designed as a vertical vegetable garden, the Transfarmers (a 2-in-1 flower pot), or the WORMacotta and the In-Ground, which you bury directly in an existing planter.
Getting startedHow to set up your worm composter, step by step
Getting a worm composter off to a good start takes a little care. The right location, properly prepared bedding, and a first week without adding any food scraps set the tone for everything that follows. This guide walks you through each step of the setup, from settling in your worms to the role of the moisture mat. It also covers the most common beginner mistake: overfeeding your worm bin.
