WORMgarden Worm Composter with Planter: All Versions
Up to 18 growing areas around a central worm composter.
The WORMgarden, formerly called JardiComposteur and made in France by us, is an innovative planter with a built-in worm composter. It's ideal for creating a vertical garden or vegetable garden that is both decorative and productive. Inspired by the keyhole garden concept, it combines design, ease of use, and ecological efficiency.
This clever system lets you grow a wide variety of vegetables, herbs, and plants organically while putting your food scraps to good use. The built-in worm composter turns up to 4.4 lb (2 kg) of food scraps per week into rich, natural vermicompost that directly benefits your plants.

Because you grow your plants around a central vermicomposting point, the WORMgarden promotes optimal plant growth, in the spirit of ultra-productive urban permaculture.
Attractive and compact, the WORMgarden fits easily on a patio, balcony, or rooftop, or even indoors, as long as you have a bright spot or suitable grow lights (LED, HPS…).
It features a drawer for easy collection of the vermicompost produced by the composting worms, as well as compost tea. A spigot then lets you draw off the water stored in the internal reservoir so you can reuse it to feed and water your plants.
Tips to take it further
Choosing your modelHow to use a continuous-flow worm composter
The continuous-flow worm composter works on a different principle from stacking-tray models: it uses a single large bin, where food scraps go in at the top and finished compost is harvested from the bottom, without ever handling the worms. This guide explains how it works, its advantages, what to watch out for, and how to choose between this system and the tray model.
Choosing your modelWorm composter with planter: WORMbox, WORMgarden, Transfarmers, WORMacotta...
Several of our models combine a worm composter and a planter: the WORMbox planter that replaces the lid, the WORMgarden designed as a vertical vegetable garden, the Transfarmers (a 2-in-1 flower pot), or the WORMacotta and the In-Ground, which you bury directly in an existing planter.
Daily careHow and when to harvest vermicompost and compost tea
After a few months, your worm composter produces two distinct fertilizers: vermicompost, a solid material rich in humus, and compost tea, a liquid fertilizer that needs to be diluted. This guide covers the signs that it's time to harvest, the tray rotation technique step by step, and the right amounts to use so these two fertilizers feed your plants without burning them.
