Molasses offers remarkable nutritional qualities as a natural source of energy. Rich in easily absorbed sugars, it is also known for its strong binding power and excellent palatability. These properties make it a widely used ingredient in compound feeds, liquid feeds, mash feeds, mineral feeds, and lick blocks. It is included in many animal nutrition formulas and is eaten by all species.
Beyond its nutritional qualities, molasses also has physical and ecological properties that are highly valued in industry. It is used in agglomeration processes (coal fines, steel mill residues…), in water treatment, and in certain soil remediation applications.
Use in fishing baits
Molasses is an ingredient of choice for fishing. It is easy to use, and there is no risk of overdoing it. It makes an excellent base for dips, boosters, and attractants. Diluted in water, it can also be used to moisten bait mixes: it binds the flours together while boosting the sweetness and appeal of the mix.

Essential for making EM-Actives
Molasses (A+) is a key ingredient in making EM-Actives (EM-A). This thick syrup, a byproduct of sugar refining, is essential for activating the microorganisms contained in EM-1®. Used together with EM-1®, it provides the sugars and nutrients the microorganisms need to grow and become active.
Once activated, these microorganisms can be used to enrich soil, speed up composting, improve the structure of potting soil, promote plant health, or help with water treatment. EM-Actives are used in many areas: agriculture, gardening, soil care, and eco-friendly practices.
