Wheels for WORMbox

The WORMbox base takes 6 wheels. They are sold individually, so you can replace just one damaged or missing wheel, or in a set of 6 to outfit a complete base. Each wheel measures 2 in (50 mm) in diameter and supports the weight of the whole unit without warping, even when the WORMbox is fully loaded.

To move your worm composter easily, even when it's fully loaded: bring it closer to the kitchen, pull it out for cleaning, or move it around with the seasons. Turn the base upside down and insert each wheel into the holes provided on the underside, no tools needed. Then set the leachate tray on the base, followed by the trays. The 2 in (50 mm) WORMbox wheels let you move the worm composter even when it's full, for example when cleaning.
