Customer reviews for Maze 180L Dual-Chamber Rotating Composter

I've only been using it for about 6 weeks, but the process has gone very quickly from when I filled it until it's almost finished. The plan is to have soil by spring so the plants can get a strong start with this nutrient-rich compost soil. Even though it was a bit fiddly to put together, it was reasonably easy and quick.

Very good. It's what I was expecting.

Très bien. Correspond à ce que j'en attendais.

Easy to use. The explanations are very helpful, because you often wonder what organic waste can be put in it.

Delivery was fine, the item is easy to assemble and takes longer to fill up than I thought, so it's perfect!

Very easy to use overall. My compost no longer serves as a rat nest, which was the goal. I still need to learn how to better balance the dry and green parts.

Fast delivery, very easy assembly with a well-detailed instruction manual. As soon as it was assembled, I was able to fill it with compost that was already maturing (maturation not finished) and start a new batch in the second compartment. Can't wait to see the result in a few weeks/months! Turning it with the crank is child's play, not difficult at all.

Perfect for composting

Parfait pour le compost

Making compost in a rotating plastic drum is not a given! Indeed, the daily addition of green waste lengthens the decomposition time of the part being used. So you necessarily have to use the other half of the composter before you get compost in x weeks. Also, it is advisable to shelter this composter from the rain with a roof or a cover, to prevent the grooves of the drum from filling up and becoming a mosquito breeding ground.

Matches the description. We'll have to see how it ages over time.

We didn't have time to set it up before going back to Paris for the winter. We hope to come back down to Saône-et-Loire in April 2024 and will start assembling it.
