Poto is a natural terracotta water diffuser (or olla) with a cork stopper, handcrafted in France near Castelnaudary.
Set it in the soil next to your plant, fill it with water, and let nature do the rest. Thanks to the natural pores of the terracotta, water seeps slowly and directly into the soil, right at the roots, for self-watering that's just right.
Each piece is handcrafted: slight variations in color and texture make every Poto unique.
How it works
Once buried, Poto releases water gradually through micro-porosity. The soil absorbs only the amount it needs based on its moisture level, ensuring regulated watering without excess or waste.
Its three curved legs let it stand upright on its own, providing stability and even water distribution throughout the soil.
A useful... and decorative object
Inspired by the endless curves of the Fibonacci sequence, Poto echoes the harmonious natural shapes found in Romanesco broccoli, pine cones, and the center of flowers.
When it's not being used for watering, it becomes a true decorative piece: displayed on a shelf, filled with dried flowers, or simply showcased on its own.

Care
If, after a few years, water seeps out more slowly (mineral buildup), soak your Poto for a few hours in a mixture of water and white vinegar to dissolve the deposits.
❄️ Winter precaution
Watch out for frost: repeated freeze-thaw cycles can weaken terracotta. We recommend bringing your Potos indoors for the winter.
