cela fait de nombreuses années que j'ai mon lombricomposteur et je me suis toujours servie, pour tout ce qui est accessoire, à la ferme du Moutta , qui m'a toujours donné grande satisfaction, mais là, comment vous dire... je suis très déçue. Les tapis de chanvre que j'ai reçus n'ont plus rien à voir avec ceux des débuts !
Avant je pouvait les soulever très facilement pendant plus d'un mois sans souci pour déposer mes épluchures, maintenant passé 15 jours, ils se délitent entre mes doigts vitesse grand V.
Ou alors, autre possibilité, mes lombrics ont muté et sont devenus "chanvrivores" +++
Non, plus sérieusement je suis assez déçue et votre mail tombe à pic, car j'envisageai de vous téléphoner.
En revanche toujours aucun problème de moucheron, et ils gardent toujours très bien l'humidité
Après c'est vrai que, comme le prix n'a jamais changé, peut-être que la densité du tapis est moindre...

Our hemp mats are approximately 5 to 6 mm thick. It is possible that your worms are attacking them more than before. In principle, compost worms prefer to feed on decomposing organic matter, particularly fruit and vegetable peelings, rather than on the hemp mat itself.
If your worms are particularly active or if other food inputs are insufficient, they may contribute to the breakdown of the mat, which could explain why it disintegrates more quickly.
Nevertheless, we have taken note of your comment regarding the difference in durability compared with the mats you used previously, and we thank you for pointing it out.

Since it is made of natural fibres, it gradually breaks down through contact with moisture and the activity of the worms. J’utilise ce tapis de chanvre depuis l’arrivée de mes lombrics il y a 15 jours. Moi qui suis frileuse de les toucher, j’aime bien avoir le tapis de chanvre à mettre sur les épluchures, les vers semblent aimer aussi.
