Ollas, also known as Oyas, are micro-porous ceramic irrigation pots, handmade in France.
Buried near your plants, they gradually release water directly at the root level, delivering only the amount needed thanks to the natural principle of regulation by porosity.
A watering solution that’s ecological, economical, and self-sufficient.
How it works
Buried as close as possible to the roots, the Olla slowly releases water through its micro-porous ceramic. Simply filled from the top, it releases moisture by capillary action directly into the soil, only when the soil needs it. When the soil is moist enough, the flow naturally slows down, providing regulated, precise watering without excess. Its lid limits evaporation and keeps impurities out of the water, ensuring targeted and effective watering.
Advantages
The Olla provides hands-free watering for 4 to 5 days, making manual watering up to three times less frequent. It encourages healthy growth by limiting water stress and delivering water directly to the roots. This ecological system also lets you save 50 to 70% of your water, while saving you time and giving you real peace of mind. Durable, natural, and energy-free, it’s a responsible solution in times of drought and in the face of today’s environmental challenges.
