Easily streamline your waste management with Compacto, an eco-friendly compactor designed to reduce the volume of household packaging by up to 80%. Plastic bottles, metal cans, food cartons, and empty jugs take up much less space in your trash cans and are easier to store until recycling day.

Simple, sturdy, and practical, Compacto works without electricity, powered by your foot alone. Just place the item on the compactor, lower the handle, and press down with your foot to quickly shrink it.

Made from recycled plastic, Compacto supports waste reduction and responsible consumption. It saves space at home, makes storage easier, and cuts down on trips to the recycling drop-off.

Winner of a silver medal at the Concours Lépine and a gold medal at the International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva, Compacto is a simple, clever solution that makes everyday sorting easier.

Your questions about the Compacto Crusher

The farm's answers to the questions our customers ask us most often.

The Compacto crushes plastic bottles, metal cans, food and beverage cartons, and small empty jugs. Empty them completely before crushing them.

Do not put glass in it, or any packaging that still contains liquid or a hazardous product.

The manufacturer of the Compacto says it reduces the volume of packaging by up to 80%. The actual space saved depends on the packaging: it's significant for cans and thin-walled bottles, and smaller for thick jugs.

The result: your recycling bin fills up more slowly, storage is easier, and you make fewer trips to the recycling drop-off.

The Compacto is made from recycled plastic, as part of a commitment to reducing waste and consuming responsibly.

It's the perfect companion to composting: your food scraps go into the composter, and your packaging takes up less room in the recycling. It comes with a 2-year warranty from Moutta Farm.

No electricity or batteries needed: the Compacto works using foot power alone. Place the packaging on the compactor, lower the bar, then press down with your foot, and the packaging shrinks in volume in an instant.

Simple and sturdy, it's made for everyday use, right next to your recycling bin.

Simply follow your local recycling program's guidelines: some ask for bottles to be crushed from top to bottom, while others prefer that they not be completely flattened, so the machines at the sorting facility can recognize them. The Compacto lets you control how much pressure you apply with your foot.

Either way, screw the cap back onto the crushed bottle and never nest packaging items inside one another.
